A Night Auditor oversees overnight hotel operations, combining front desk duties with accounting responsibilities to ensure guest satisfaction and accurate financial records. Checking in and out guests, handling reservations, addressing inquiries, and assisting with special requests or VIP arrivals. The primary point of contact for guests overnight, resolving complaints, managing late arrivals, and handling emergencies such as medical situations, fire alarms, or security incidents. Night Auditors typically work alone during low-traffic hours, requiring self-direction and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously. The role may involve long periods of standing at the front desk, monitoring hotel security, and responding to unexpected situations.
